Born in Denmark, acoustic & electric guitarist/composer Henrik Andersen has been teaching music for nearly 15 years. He feels at ease playing rock, hip-hop, Arabic & Indian music, jazz and pop.
With his current band 'One Nation Under A Groove', Andersen has played and toured with such famous musicians as drummer Trilok Gurtu and flutist Shashank (from India). He was also the soloist in John McLaughlin’s Concerto for Guitar & Orchestra, 'The Mediterranean', with the Royal Danish Symphony Orchestra.
Andersen's live performances involve a variety of instruments: acoustic and electric guitars, sitar, veena, percussion, keyboards, harmonium and recently vocals, more specifically Human-Beatboxing & Indian-style vocalizing. He has toured in Europe, Brazil, Greenland, Canada, the USA and India.
