Itar Shameh has been performing since the year 2000, playing rock, soul, jazz and latin music, with some oriental tunes and Arabic lyrics thrown in the mix. This unique project by one of the most experienced alternative Syrian bands, builds on Rasha Rizk’s masterful use of different vocal techniques; she is a leading opera singer, and a member of the Syrian National Orchestra.
Rasha was also recently noticed for her outstanding performance on the soundtrack of Lebanese movie 'Caramel', by Nadine Labaki.
