Talar Aghbashian graduated in 2003 in painting and drawing from the Lebanese University of Fine Arts, and she is currently finishing her MA studies in Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design- London. She has exhibited regularly since 1997 in several galleries in Beirut, and participated in Sursock Museum's 'Salons d'Automne' 2003 & 2004. She held her first individual exhibition at the French Cultural Center in 2005 and her last collective show was in the Bargehouse – London in 2008.

Talar has also taught graphic design and architecture at Al-Manar University and other schools, and worked in illustration, restoration and mural painting.
