The Alphabet Girls

Game | 2006 | Lebanon

Our alphabet girls are out and about picking stars, riding dolphin carriages, playing music on their hair, blowing colors on the flowers, swinging from a crescent moon and sailing with the sunset. The alphabet girls is a card game, consisting on one side of names and letters, and on the other of actions and sentences. Whoever wants to learn Arabic, regardless of their age, will be able to do so in a fun and innovative way, by matching the first name of the Alphabet Girl with the first letter of the name. For example Wadad with the letter W, and the sentence with the action depicted beautifully by Zena El Khalil, who created lovely dolls, doll sets and many other objects from fabrics, pearls, glitter, plastic flowers, and the like. The sentences were also created by Zena, who relied on unusual material to write in Arabic.
