The Arabic Music Heritage Ensemble

The Arabic Music Heritage Ensemble was founded in August 2003 by a group of students from the Music Education department of the Faculty of Pedagogy – Lebanese University. It has received since the start the support and counseling of famed violinist and musicologist Dr Nidaa Abou Mrad.
While remaining fundamentally young, the ensemble has nonetheless turned professional. It aims to practice in depth the artistic musical tradition of the Near East and to transmit it to the largest public possible, while respecting its intrinsic rules.
