Aa'tareeq
Oriental Jazz | Egypt | 2009
Seven highly talented "stunt performers" standing on the balcony of ‘the first floor’ (which is the meaning of the band’s name) and ready to hit the street. This is how thrilling it gets when the Egyptian band El Dor El Awal decides to unleash its new sounds. After 'Qarar Izala' in 2006, it comes under the name of 'Aa'tareeq' which means on the road in Arabic. Wandering between musical jams and concourses, most of the tracks on this album feature guest musicians that participate in enriching the band's sounds, such as the mizmar melted along with clarinet, accordion and tambourine. Fresh music to which you add entertaining and lively beats, this is what 'Aa'tareeq' is all about. Pure entertainment!
